Write the paper. Every great philosopher to ever exist had at least one controversial topic they were willing to defend with all their might.

Never be scared to write about a controversial topic! That’s literally what philosophical discussions are abt!!!

The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ could be controversial but saving to others. I say do it within reason and be thorough in your explanation.
