Oh yes! About students and the staff. Sometimes we even seat students next to eachother when we think they like eachother to see what happens

There’s full protocol on this. Forms, resources, admin, steps. It’s very common actually.

Sorry to hear that it’s common but I’m glad there’s protocol. It seemed at my school it was just kinda up to the teachers best judgement.

I’d like to think most teachers don’t in the beginning when they first get to know the students. But it gets harder to not judge when we hear all the gossip lol

I’m so sorry that happened to you. When I taught I had to call child services. For different students One student told me her mom hit her that morning. Another student told me his mom would lock up the food in the home and that he didn’t like summer break because he was always hungry at home. It broke my heart.
