Just establish communication and talk about anything, focus on career and things that interest you, engage in topics of what makes life interesting. Keep a moderate focus on intellect cause being shy maybe your best trait, wittiness is a cute trait.

ive been able to have conversations abt stuff kinda like that but i never get a chance to go any further because no one seems to actually wanna build a connection with me, we'll talk for like a day or have a conversation about something and it'll seem like its going great but after thats over the next day its like they forget about my existence and i never hear from them again
