Christianity is the foundation religion of American. Slowly we have allowed other religions to chip away at that foundation.

What does Trump have anything to do with God? Let me guess, “If God existed he wouldn’t allow all these bad things to happen”. Well God gave us freedom. If he was constantly going around preventing all these bad things from happening he be impeding our freedom, when theres good there’s evil and you can’t have one without another. God can’t control the bad actions people choose to make but it’s part of the freedom that he gave us.

Which one? There’s literally thousands. Explain the difference between Christianity and a cult or explain why every single other god is clearly fake but yours just happens to be real despite it having not a single bit more evidence than any of the others

Okay what about cancer then, what about all of the deadly and incurable diseases that affect millions of people worldwide. Why would an all loving god allow such indiscriminate suffering. Why would the father of all creation design hurricanes/ tornadoes/ flash floods/ Forrest fires/ droughts/ famines etc to kill the children he claims to love unconditionally. If you actually take even a minute to think about it, there is no way a god of this world could be all powerful all knowing and all good

All of these things happen TO us, it is not our will. So is it god’s? And I’m so sick and tired of people thanking god when they survive something horrible, especially when so many other people don’t survive, why would you thank a god that put you through that and what makes you so special that god chose to save you and not others.

Christianity differs from a cult by emphasizing the singular deity of Jesus Christ, the full authority of the Bible, and a grace-based salvation, whereas a cult typically elevates a human leader to near-infallibility, adds extra authoritative texts, promotes salvation through works or the group, and uses fear and control to maintain membership.

All of these things are not a result of his divine love and desire for mankind. Their result of how man has destroyed the planet and other human beings. Not one person has to starve on this planet or does anybody ever have to be murdered if everybody would just care more about others and they care about themselves. God has turned man over to himself and man chooses to care only about himself.

I don’t know your political leanings per se, but I have a strong feeling you don’t actually agree with much of what Jesus teaches. You also posting this to argue with people and inflate your own ego with holier than thou statements shows a pride that is very unbecoming of a follower of god

I think if you’re a follower of Jesus that would deeply influence your politics. I also think that the current trend is to use the name of Jesus to peddle an agenda that’s deeply against his teachings. I want to know if you’re actually a believer or if you just like to yell about how good of a Christian you are on yikyak

How can I know if you’re a follower of Jesus if you’re too afraid to discuss your principles? I can sit and say I’m a good Christian online to a bunch of strangers all day, if I then go on to hate the poor and advocate for the removal of immigrants then it doesn’t matter. If all you want to do is measure your own cock, I’m all good. When you want to talk about what you believe, feel free.

You don’t think Christianity uses fear of hell and damnation to maintain membership? You don’t think human religious leaders are seen as perfect and all-good despite any evidence to the contrary? You don’t think Christian’s cherry pick certain parts of the bible to interpret them in their own ways to justify whatever bullshit they want?
