you think every single instance of sex is primarily directed at having a child?
condoms break, birth control fails, rape isn’t by choice… accidents can happen
there are countermeasures
and they aren't 100% effective, hence accidental pregnancies. not a hard concept.
true. can't get mad you got the end result of sex tho
it’s not even about their being countermeasures; it’s the fact that the reason sex exists is to procreate
You could also just like …. not have sex
it's 2026. abstinence-only strategies are ineffective. this has been known for quite a while.
Not unless you’re Mary
I mean like biologically speaking yeah but we ain’t apes and sex can just be about the pleasure and connection of you want it to be.
you’re still acknowledging the fine print of the agreement and saying “i know we might have a baby”
Or if you’re trying to have fun and using preventative measures in other words it would be “we may get pregnant accidentally”
again, you can’t call pregnancy an accident because that is the natural, ideal goal. if anything, not getting pregnant is accidental
we don't live in caves anymore.
thank God for that
