Guy here: Right now my big 3 are: 1. Communication. Specifically both feel comfortable directly stating what we like/dont like 2. Mutual sexual attraction. Both desire the other and feel desired the right way/amount/intensity 3. Money. They need to have their own independent money plans and not want mine. Later on lead to agreements about alternative marital options

f 19: - they must be a good friend to their friends - sensitive, sweet, caring - sexual compatibility and physical attraction - act maturely and communicate maturely - they must have interests, hobbies, and a plan for their future

Woman, 20 years I’m dating to marry so I’m picky with who I date - We need to agree on core values: Christian faith, kids [whether adopted/fostered or by blood), waiting for marriage, agreement on certain hot topics -He needs financial stability: I would love to housewife it up so I am especially looking for this. And it shows me he can support a family -Not obese: I need him around to witness our kids grow up That’s it, honestly. I don’t really care about looks anymore.

When I'm on a first/second date I break it down simpler though: 1. Would I be proud of her if she were my daughter? 2. Do I want to know what she thinks about big deal decisions in my life? 3. Would I trust her alone with my child?

One engages in activities that the gender of interest engages in. Makes small talk. Waits for natural connections to arrise and asks people out after those connections seem to be there

one asks another person to do something that is fun for both individuals, typically this something is done with just the two of you. can be anything! one develops emotional attachment to the other person and does more of these dates
