No. She’s right. Guys have issues and they tend to externalize said issues rather than identify the problem within themselves and find healthy ways to cope. A lot of societies problems are because men aren’t socialized to be empathetic and deal with social stressors in positive/healthy manners.

When you aren’t a man you often deal with the brunt of their socialization because within it they are kind of taught to devalue other people, especially when they aren’t men/are queer. Men can be really difficult to deal with. I care a lot about them but sometimes guys can be needlessly cruel in ways women aren’t, and it just makes dealing with it exhausting.

Ideally men need to get help for their issues and like. Learn how to value other people, even when we don’t contribute in any substantial way to their lives (sexually, romantically, career, etc.) a lot of the male loneliness epidemic stuff literally stems from an inability to engage with other people because of male socialization.
