that’s not how prices work lol. also we can thank obama that we just casually destroyed a large percentage of older cars under the guise of environmentalism like it didn’t literally just put us in a permanent need for new cars. cash for clankers was the largest single political action to hurt american wallets in modern history

the supply was decimated 20 years ago so we have a permanent demand for more cars. “stop buying the car of the year* people still need cars. like sure we can say it’s unnecessary to buy the new year model. but also we have these things called kids and they still need cars and there’s not a huge backlog of old cars to pick up like there was for our parents. between natural demand and increase in regulation codes and the cost to meet them, cars will continue to go up in price.
