Regular testing and barrier protection (condoms, etc) unless you were both very recently tested/can show proof. Also HPV and Hep B vaccines. Thereâs also PrEP to prevent HIV for individuals who are at higher risk for exposure. It is possible to have a lot of sex with a lot of people and still keep risks relatively low; you just have to be diligent :) (one example is that not a single legal NV sex worker has tested positive for HIV since the 1980s when strict protocols were introduced!)
stds are either curable and the ones that arenât are not a big deal so people just donât really worry tbh. not thatâs itâs good. last time i got an std test lab corp charged me a thousand dollars so i was like ohhh i guess thatâs why people arenât getting tested. itâs ridiculous. and i only found out the price afterwards
Technically all sex is dangerous, the person could always cheat or do drugs or whatever else. And at the end of the day, everything is at least a little dangerous. As long as youâre risk aware and do your best to reduce risk, yanno? But totally valid if itâs too much risk for you personally!!
Honestly iâve had sex with at least 10 people (not much whatsoever, but most were hookups) and I havenât gotten an std yet. Iâm defo not immune, but like. Yeah. And most are very treatable/curable. Despite testing negative for chlamydia i was still at risk of having it so they put me on antibiotics that wouldâve killed it. Test results came back as nothing but yanno, better safe than sorry.
OH MY GAWD! âTell that to Easy Eâ?? He died in 1995!!! More than 30 years ago!! Do you have any idea how different things are now? Also it is believed that both him and Magic were infected via anal sex not typical vaginal sex. Why let facts get in the way of things thought right? Lol
