Literally yes. The government directly caused black culture to be crime heavy by forcing them into poor areas, limiting education, funneling drugs into their neighborhoods, over policing, hiring discrimination, etc. The government intentionally did all of this to make black people commit more crimes, so they could then scapegoat them for all of the issues the US faces.

Do you honestly think that black people would commit crimes at a disproportionate rate if they weren’t predisposed to be impoverished, were given ample access to affordable housing, education, healthcare, food, etc, and weren’t constantly facing discrimination from people like you? Poverty and desperation have ALWAYS been the #1 driving factor of crime. You want to fix that? Support systemic change to get black people out of poverty.

Because they grew up in poverty with poor access to nutritious food, poor access to good education, probably also had bad parents, and THAT is where they learned all of these habits. People don’t seem to understand how “accountability” works conceptually, it that it DOES NOT WORK on a broad scale. On the individual level, sure. For example, if you want ONE specific person who’s obese to lose weight, you can hold them to a high standard of diet and exercise to fix it. If you want the United States to fix the obesity epidemic, holding millions of people accountable is IMPOSSIBLE. So what do you do? You enact POLICY changes. Better regulation on our food, more walkable cities.
