Last name. Dear Mr/mrs/ms. First name basis is very unprofessional and comfortable so unless you have a personal relationship with them last name every time. It’s more respectful

If it you’re college advisor a safe bet is to just call them Professor——-

but they aren’t professors… they are advisors

Most advisors are professors but if they aren’t I would say hi and then write the email and wait till they reply back with a signature. This is what professors have recommended for me to do. Hope this helps! 😃
