Honestly yeah. I wasted an FIVE years of my life in undergrad just to be told I had the “wrong degree” to make money. Now I’m unemployed and the only jobs that would even hire me pay LESS THAN $15 per hour!!!!

Ultimately, you’ll be more proud of yourself later if you stick through it and graduate. Moreover your dad would’ve wanted you to succeed. If you can’t do it for yourself, do it to make him proud. Rest in peace.

If you feel like it’s the right thing for you I would say do it college definitely isn’t for everyone, but if it’s just because you’re having a minor inconvenience, don’t let it destroy what you want to do. It just depends on what you wanna do with your life long term

Take a break and find a therapist, please. Grief can become a black hole that consumes all.

Then just talk to administrators and go on medical leave or something. Life happens they know this and will probably give u some time. Go to uni counselors and they’ll help u

Find a lab you can at, if not even as a yearly thing, try being a paid intern and see where it goes. I’m not a bio major, but that’s just what I’m guessing you can look into
