U wouldnt have broken up if they were the one for you. Honestly “the one” when u really think about it doesn’t even exist. I went through this recently and a couple months later i cant even imagine being with them anymore

U have to start telling yourself that they no longer exist in ur reality whenever u think about them. The more u let yourself think abt them, the more ur not letting yourself get over them

I agree that "the one" doesn't exist in like some metaphysical sense, but this is a person who I get along with and mesh with better than anyone I've ever met. It's hard for me to move on from that, even though I know I have to. But thank you for your input, I'll take any advice I can get
