It was there for everyone else who has died. The key difference is there are lot of deplorable people celebrating his death. It causes people who liked Kirk to speak up more, and it causes people who didn’t know Kirk but wondered what all this was about to convert to his opinions and speak up. The left created a martyr.

Eww? I want no part in your weird fetishes. Nobody mourned, the side asking for sympathy is the same side that mocked and laughed and pulls up statistics when someone “on the wrong side” dies. The lack of awareness is concerning

Get off the internet and go touch grass. Go actually talk to a real person who doesn’t share the same worldview as you instead of being terminally online. The people mocking and laughing, left or right, the kind of person who immediately dismisses an opposing viewpoint as delusional, they are completely separated from reality if they are able to make such broad blanket statements about people they disagree with as you’re making. Most people are better humans than you seem to believe.
