Prom was the first and last school dance I attended, it wasn’t really for me but I don’t regret going. I think it’s important for a lot of people (especially those graduating) to make memories and celebrate how hard they worked. It is extremely expensive but there are charities that will help girls (idk about guys) get a prom dress and do their hair, nails, and makeup if they can’t afford it. Ik a lot of people view it as a milestone, my dad cried when he saw me dressed up.

No why would they stop it?? It’s prom??? People can just do what they’ve always done if they can’t afford it or don’t care to go…. not go, wtf?? Why would they stop it for everyone for just a few who don’t want to go?? And it’s not a waste of time for those who like to dance and create memories with their graduating class wtf you sound like a grouch and bitter??? Just the kind of person that likes to ruin things for others just because it’s something they don’t enjoy so they think others shouldn’t get to enjoy that thing either?? I also know that it is the one time I saw my friend express that she felt pretty. I think every girl deserves that and I wish I could make her feel that way everyday.
