Pick out the plank in your own eye buddy, stop focusing on the speck in others. Approaching people this way will get you nowhere, and honestly it sounds like you harbor a lot of self resentment and you’re pushing it on others. Work with your own walk with god and disciple those that care, not those that don’t. Some of us have heard all this before and choose to live differently.
Hmm okay. This is why I left the faith, because people feel entitled to get on a soapbox towards others who are clearly not receptive nor asking for discipleship. If y’all acted like Jesus did, and first cared about and loved them, and then taught them it would probably work better. But continue ‘approaching people anyway’ I’m sure it will keep working for you.
I’m more along the lines of “show don’t tell” as Jesus did preach the gospel but he also *acted* differently which prompted people to not only ask him questions but to also listen. I don’t think we’ll agree on how to evangelize but that’s okay. I don’t think not actively speaking about the gospel means I’m ashamed as my actions should be proof and thought provoking enough.
