It’s because a lot of farmers are republican and they need something to protect their crops so they have a lot of practice

Okay, and? They’re the two main political parties in the U.S. why the hell would any citizen ignore them? You may not like the two party system — I certainly don’t — but it undeniably exists lol

Most of our gen has moved on from that. Its more become rightist vs leftist vs the people at the top with money. The democrat and republican politicians are just as corrupt as each-other and both associate with (and probably are) baby eating pdfs. The only people who genuinely believe either just dems or just republicans are the sole enemy are Magahats, boomers, and milenials. You’re well behind if you’re young and falling for this cnn+fox news crap

I don’t think OP was saying that only republicans are bad, or that they were absolving democrats of guilt. I think it’s also really odd that you’d group MAGA, boomers, and millennials together. I think that “no war but class war” is reductionist, as well. While class divide and capitalism is an integral part of American (+intl.) suffering, you’re missing a lot of the story if you ignore intersectionality. (1/2)

The difference between right wing and left wing ideology is not negligible, and it’s not interchangeable with the two parties. But let’s just say that on matters like abortion or environmentalism, for example, you can see a pretty clear partisan divide. It’s irresponsible to say that it’s all the same. Democrats should have solidified healthcare rights earlier but I’m not voting for the party seeking to penalise women for miscarriages. I hope you can understand what I’m saying here. (2/2)
