For more context he works the line and there’s already a bit of them vs us mentality between servers and line guys at the restaurant I work at because the line guys think we’re all idiots and lash out at us for stuff managers kind of pressure us into. (Like making crazy modifications for customers or putting in orders late) so that’s why I’m a bit more nervous to turn him down rather than if he were another server.
