Honestly it's terrifying. In America it's illegal to even boycott isreal or Israeli company, so even talking about my fears and concerns openly feel like a high crime - like a violent hate crime that resulted in death. I don't talk about it friend or family. I'm afraid of getting "cancelled" alienated or fired. I can see the censors working their magic on the bigger platforms and know is a mater of time before companies scale wrong-think as a ban-able offense.
No - I don’t want to be reported by sharing a link of that nature - but I’ll give you a hint: Research Chaim Weizmann’s comments at the 1919 Paris Peace Conference. In short, he insisted Zionism would succeed only if backed by international law and Western powers. He wanted to turn the Balfour Declaration into a legal obligation via the League of Nations Mandate (which you should research as well)
I see what you mean because Weizmann was the first president of Israel and made a lot of statements, but Weizmann wasn’t the head of the Zionist movement as far as I am aware. I looked into the guy who actually founded the Zionism movement (Theodor Herzl) and this is what he wrote:
“Herzl wrote Der Judenstaat (The State of the Jews), which was published February 1896 to immediate acclaim and controversy. The book argued that the Jewish people should leave Europe for Palestine, their historic homeland. The Jews possessed a nationality; all they were missing was a nation and a state of their own.[32] Only through a Jewish state could they avoid antisemitism, express their culture freely and practice their religion without hindrance.”
