This is literally the job of the parents. Students are already in the midst of an education crisis with increasing illiteracy rates & yall want to take away MORE class time to teach shit their parents need to teach them. IF they even need to be taught.

We don’t have to take time away from anything. We can expand curricula.

🙄 you clearly didn’t think that out. Where will the extra time for the expanded come from? A longer school day means longer hours for the teachers. Those teachers would need to receive money for those hours. Counties across the nation are already struggling or incapable of paying teachers living wages. Many places are CLOSING schools all other due to budget constraints. And you’re proposing increasing the necessary budget? 🤨🧐 lmfaooo 😭 so fucking stupid it’s sad
