friends to lovers. you need to know who that person is in every aspect of their lives not just with you. if you've only ever seen his personality while he has a romantic interest in you, you have no idea who he really is as a person

It can have a friends stage but it has to be intermediate. If we’re friends too long they go into the ‘never make it weird ever’ slot and simply will never leave that slot as long as I live.
