I don’t like cutting people off completely because that means they’re less likely to stop being MAGA, but also it’s completely valid if you need to cut someone off to protect yourself

Never had any friends who did it in the first place, thank god. I guess my characteristics (black, queer, disabled) filters them out.

my friends could fucking murder someone and i’d help them bury the body. that’s our murder now. you think i give a damn who they voted for? i feel bad for mfs whose friendships are so weak they’d cut someone off over something so benign.

By discriminating against people who think differently or perhaps had a different opinion in the past, you become a bigot just in the opposite direction. If you are truly accepting of others, you can have conversations with and love people who see the world differently. Different isn’t necessarily bad. Most times it’s just perspective. We’re all people. And politicians intentionally manipulate us to divide us because we are much more powerful when united.

You do realize Harris deported more people than Trump’s first term, had ICE camps full of abuse, was a geocidal mass murderer?

I mean yeah it is hypocritical considering that Harris voters wanted Palestinians to be murdered in death camps but theyre condemning other people regarding who they voted for

In US culture, the most depraved atrocities against colonized peoples is considered normal and acceptable. Trump is considered bad only because he doesnt pretend to look respectable

First of all who said I voted? Second who do you think you are cursing someone out over the internet? What’s pathetic is that you are literally proving the point I just made in real time.

yeah ICE has always been awful now they’ve been given authority to harm even more innocent people. 32 people died at the hands of ICE in 2025 making it the agency’s deadliest year in over two decades and on top of that they’ve tripled daily arrests with a 600% increase in at large arrests and an insane 2450% increase in detainees being held with no criminal record so yeah it’s definitely gotten worse

the awful conditions you pointed out yes we’re always awful and with the unprecedented increase in ice activity the abuse, neglect, and persecution has increased in both scale and severity so if that under democratic presidents was upsetting this should be even more concerning

and ICE under trump has fought for the right to use race/ethnicity as a justification for reasonable suspicion aka literally persecuting people based on race and the majority conservative supreme court granted it to them so it’s only gotten more unabashedly based on his campaign against minorities and immigrants not actually illegal immigration

Western liberalism has always been based on the most horrific crimes against colonized peoples. Everything Hitler did to Europeans, you Harris voters voted to do against Palestinians, Yemenis, Afghanis, Cubans, Venezuelans, etc. You enabled it and benefit from it. Thats why you voted for Harris

Cutting someone off for politics is bigoted when the politics is “should taxes be raised to build this new highway,” not when it’s “should federal police officers be able to shoot innocent protesters in the street without repercussions”
