hey so im currently recovering from AN - i wanna build muscle and say goodbye to my sick body once and for all. ive started doing strength training and eating a bit more (1500-1600cals?) however im SO HUNGRY?? i do 20k steps too a day, shld i be eating -

1500 is not enough if you’re strength training and walking that much and recovering from an ED

more?? im not really used to this amount of food already as ive always restricted to 1000-1200, but if theres anyone who is more knowledgable with fitness who can help me out that would be great :)

It seems counterproductive to walk so much if you want to gain weight…. Don’t walk so much and you won’t need to eat so much to gain weight. Also, try focusing on healthy foods that are calorie dense like healthy fats- avocado, nuts. Look up foods that are nutrient dense but also higher in calories than say veggies or fruits. Don’t abandon veggies or fruits but also include these more calorie dense foods.
