Have a talk with him if it seems he is unwilling to reciprocate. Let him know that it bothers you and that you don't want to feel used and all that stuff. See what he says then see if he sticks to what he says

I always advocate for communication before breaking up. The biggest problem with dating today is that people just don't want to communicate issues with their partners

I’ve experienced this exact thing. It can feel really frustrating that he may not be reciprocating but it’s worth the talk! There’s almost certainly a way to meet in the middle (:

Talk. That doesn’t have to be face to face necessarily if that makes it easier, tho I’d encourage in person. If it’s more than just this issue that changes the equation tho

the thing is i get upset and have talks all the time with him. i’m overly emotional and this just throws me for a loop bc i don’t want to make him uncomfortable
