It’s not a slur, but it’s often used in a demeaning way. when men say “Females” rather than women it’s similar to referring to them as like bitches. Cause if you heard a woman call men “males” like “males are all like this” it’s just such a technical term to it’s makes it sound odd

I’m glad u used that example! Notice how u said a female “doctor” and not just a female. A woman is a female human , but a female is just an adjective used to describe a noun. When you just say a woman is a female, I.e “looking to talk to a female” it dehumanizes the person into just being an adjective and not a person. Hope this helps !

yeah but we have a word to replace female as a noun for humans. and it’s woman. we don’t call nonhuman animals men and woman

female is a classifying term. if you call a woman a female, it makes us feel like you’re just seeing us as something with female parts. whereas woman means human person
