Made this last week but everyone started calling each other names immediately. Let’s try again. I have never met a MAGA Republican who can articulate why they support specific policy decisions without devolving to name calling. Have you?

You dove into those conversations and stopped responding to one of the only conversations in the thread that didn’t devolve into name calling. I don’t take you seriously anymore.

I got banned for 48 hours because someone reported an unrelated post about jfk, and by the time I got back I had dozens of people calling me names and 250 comments on the post. And plenty of them devolved to name calling. Plenty

I responded to those I could. But I didn’t respond to people who just said “yeah but liberals can’t either”, because that has nothing to do with the question.

You’re posting stuff that gets you banned and when you get back, you engage the name-callers. Sounds like you’re just trying to stoke shit. How can we take you seriously?

I’m trying to get someone to try to defend maga policies but I haven’t found a single person. I posted a poll about the jfk assignation. No idea why it got reported but I got it reversed by emailing support. You’re faulting me for engaging name callers but not the name callers….. Do you wanna defend maga policies or nah?

And this is yik yak. None of us should be taken seriously. This isn’t a cnn town hall. This is “I am looking for a single person to defend maga policies without name calling”. If you can’t or don’t want to, then don’t comment 🤷

How can I take you seriously if you seem unable to weigh policy-trade offs? We already tried this and you already showed that you aren’t interested in real discussion because the moment it started getting deep you disengaged. You didn’t seem to understand the topic we talked about because the info you conveyed was very limited in scope. And if you’re not here for this to be taken seriously in this thread then I’m certainly not going to take you seriously.

I can weigh policy trade offs? I am interested. I told you I was not able to respond because of something outside of my control. Trust me I understand the topic. I also understand you haven’t defended any maga policies under this post. So unless you are going to do so, Idk what to tell you 🤷. And I responded to every message I got. If you messaged me, you haven’t responded yet

If you understand the topic why were the main points you made when I urged you to weigh the pros and cons, be so limited? You literally said “all the pros are lies.” You literally showed me that you cannot weigh policy trade-offs by claiming there is literally nothing on the other side of the scale. How can I have a policy discussion with someone who can’t figure out the pros and cons even for themselves?

Now I remember who u are. Had to go back and read. Because all the “pros” to toppling a government are lies. It doesn’t make America stronger or safer, it makes us weaker by ruining our relations with nations. It doesn’t stop the flow of drugs, because Venezuela doesn’t make the drugs, it doesn’t help the Venezuelan people in Venezuela because we’re just fixing their oil industry, taking $2b in heavy crude, and then leaving.

Again showing me you’re incapable of weighing policy-trade offs. You can’t even acknowledge facts which nobody reasonably disagrees with; Venezuela has been a major transit hub for drugs under Maduro. Doesn’t help the people there, yet their oil industry is getting fixed? It doesn’t help the people to fix their $17T industry for $2B? You make it clear that you don’t understand what you’re talking about. And I’m sure you understand the stuff you’re not talking about even less.

I am capable. Just because I don’t weigh money over morality doesn’t mean I’m not weighing them. Venezuela is not a major transit hub for drugs. Colombia and Mexico are. Google is your friend. Venezuela makes coke and it goes to europIt doesn’t help the people of Venezuela to sell their land to conquerors. It helps American oil industries who stand to make well over $2b. The $2b in heavy crude is just the start. They have an estimated $17t in oil, that doesn’t mean their oil is a $17t industry.

Stop attacking me and attack the ideas. You keep saying I’m “incapable” but I’m saying things and you’re not responding to them. It’s not the source of America’s drug problem, the PEOPLE of Venezuela are not helped by Americans taking over their natural resources. And this makes the rest of the world hate us, which makes the USA LESS safe.

“I am capable.” “Venezuela is not a major transit hub for drugs.” It’s not possible to have a policy conversation with a person who points at reality and says “nothing is there”. You’re not a serious person.

I’m sorry, have you been to Venezuela? Are you part of the dea? Everyone from Europeans to the Trump administration knows that Venezuela is not a major transit hub for drugs. Venezuela makes some drugs (coke) but most of it goes to Europe via Belgium. Also, if drugs are the main concern (which they are not, it’s oil), then why did trump pardon the former prez of Honduras? Because it’s not about drugs, it’s about geo politics and oil. Just use google.
