Personally, anxiety and feeling like a burden. Growing up, everything was an inconvenience for my parents so whenever I struggle I just keep it to myself so I don’t bother. That’s with everything, work, home life, school.

not knowing when to ask for help… eventually you get so used to struggling (not *just mentally, like with anything) it feels normal. i still have a hard time knowing when i couldn’t handle something until it was too late.

They think it makes them look weak or they don’t want to be a bother.
I often ask new people I meet for help with some small task, because it makes them feel useful/good about themselves, so it kinda works both ways
