Bc it’s an anonymous app, so weird/creepy guys feel empowered to be as over sexual and gross as they want to be, which unfortunately means even the most innocent of conversations runs the risk of being taken in a sexual direction even though it shouldn’t.

Exactly. I was on my university’s yikyak and I spoke about weight loss and suddenly it was a conversation about sex and he was trying to get me to sleep with him. It’s all because it’s anonymous. it’s gross
