This isn’t sad bait or anything I genuinely want to know has anyone here accepted that they’ll probably be single for their whole life? And not by choice I meani definitely have accepted it as an option but like not in a negative “i’m going to die alone” kind of way. i’ve never dated anyone nor am i trying to rn but i know if i wanted to i could. i’m sure you could too, maybe you’re just looking in the wrong places? i think by putting yourself in that mindset you’re basically nerfing yourself. also there’s nothing wrong with being single, it’s freeing. you can do whatever you want whenever you want, you’re not committed to anyone or anything.
To be honest, I’ve never really thought about it… I just have to get out more and express myself more often. I taught myself that if I just stood still in a room and not say a single word, nobody would bother me. But many times I’ve wanted to accept that I would be single for the rest of my life.
being single shouldn’t be a bad thing. a relationship isn’t supposed to be your whole life, just an add on. enjoy being single, use it as a way to learn about yourself and solidify your character and who you want to be in the future. life has a way of throwing the things you want at you when you aren’t looking. build your confidence and you’ll meet the right person when the time is right. have faith in yourself🫶🏼
