No, it’s normal to say feel better to someone who’s sick. That’s very weird of him to call you gay for that. I don’t mean to be rude, but do you socialize much irl? It seems like you’re not operating off of many other reference points for normal interaction

He’s 79 and I have shoulder length hair so he probably thinks I am. But is it actually gay for non family males to say that to each other? Like have you ever said that to a male friend or something or is that a no no?

I’m sorry to hear that. Not that there’s anything wrong with not socializing much but it does make it harder to understand social situations. I’ve been there, it sucked
