U need to communicate that. So it depends. I told my bf (when I started to like him) my intentions were to eventually get into a relationship, and I asked his intentions. I Also said I’m not exclusive Until he asked me to be his gf. I was still talking to other guys till then so it wasn’t wasting my time. Be clear on what u want and respect what they want, personally I would’ve cut him off if we were talking for longer than 2-3 months and he didn’t ask me. Simply cause I care about my time
