Our birthrate in the US has been declining over the past years. This is a generalized graph and doesn’t focus in on higher income or education areas which have an even steeper drop in birthrate compared to impoverished or uneducated populations.

you're right. scientists haven't announced it yet because they don't want to scare everyone, but there are no pregnant women on earth right now.
