I am Hindu, so this is at a Hindu temple, so we have these massive golden statues of animals and gods, we have a giant golden statue of a cobra, a golden statue of a cow, a golden statue of the sun god and his chariot and horses, a statue of a wind god with a bird beak for a nose, and a golden statue of the monkey god. That counts as crazy right? Also not in my temple, but in some temples in India they bless army tanks sometimes, so I guess that’s also pretty crazy

Got (salted) holy water in my eye at a baptism and screamed. People didn’t like that holy water burned me (luckily not at my church)

Mom said to baby, “give me some sugar,” then proceeded to like kiss the baby on the mouth the whole mass. Like literally basically the whole mass. Twas odd

Idk it’s embarrassing. I think it is. But our praise leader / band member was asking me about colleges I applied to and I was telling him about the really good colleges I’d gotten into (several top tier ivy leagues I’d worked hard to get into) and he was all like “aren’t you so excited to go to college so you can meet your future husband” inferring women only go to college to find their husband. All of his kids went to college and were engaged a year later. I was like nah. I’m excited to learn.
