See hereâs the problem, thatâs ridiculously subjective and opinion based. How exactly is it better than other religions? All of them are based on different beliefs. You taking this as an attack tells me all I need to know. I hope u figure out not everybody is coming at you or your religion, but instead just having basic discussion which you never had to join. Nothing is perfect, including religion.
I donât care whatâs haram or not, Iâm not religious and your beliefs do not control my life. If you felt called out by people dissecting high-control groups, you really should take a critical look at your beliefs and make sure you fully understand them and why you believe them. Believe what you want, but your personal beliefs do not apply to anyone other than you.
Doesnât change a thing, their point is many people who practice the same religion including your own may have different beliefs, a perfect example within your own religion would that their multiple sects. From what I know the Sunni and Shia differ on the way of selecting religious authoritative figures. This has nothing to do with christianity being âharamâ
Hi! So Iâm a Muslim, this guy is most likely LARPing. 1) Any Muslim who seeks to hook up with others outside of their marital partner is in fact disobeying the commands of God 2) criticism and analysis of Islam is encouraged, even for Muslims, as Islam does not rely upon blind faith 3) Shias are not heretics, their practices may seem strange to other Sunnis but as long as they believe in Allah (SWT) and that Muhammad (SAW) is the final prophet they are Muslim, it is up to Allah (SWT) to judge
Those people are usually (but not always) Christian nationalists. If youâre a Christian and join the US military, youâre not truly Christian and have been brainwashed. It is against all of Christian religions to be responsible for the deaths of others just due to a difference in perspective.
To be fair, you also have to recognize we are all sinners under Christianity. Everyone has their vices and the focus on abstinence along with how serious of an issue porn addiction is⌠they kinda like⌠oppressively force their human desires to that state. I think Christianity also makes a lot of people fearful of commitment.
You can believe that youâre a Christian.. but if you donât follow the faith itâs just talk. It goes against the Ten Commandments to be in the US Military so practicing Christianity as a member of the military literally defines you as a Christian Nationalist. You are not Christian if you support the killings of innocent civilians in war.
Again, you may call yourself a Christian but that does not make you a Christian. You must follow true to the faith. So yes, I continue to say, even members in the crusades were not Christian. Did they truly spread the word of God, or did they just spread hatred and animosity? They may believe they were Christian but in actuality they were doing the devilâs work. A Christian is single handedly the most untrustworthy person to possibly be in a military position.
If you donât follow in the footsteps of Christ, youâre not a Christian. Itâs pretty simple man. I mean of all worldwide collected understanding of the religion⌠yeah⌠theyâre not Christian. Why do you think literally through all of history (including the crusades) Christianity has been misconstrued to allow for military presence to feel religious validation for their actions.
Also, you really need to hold in perspective the reality of warfare during the crusades. The mentality literally forced upon them from birth was the belief that God supported their actions even though nothing in the Bible points to that being reality. Just like how Christian Nationalists arenât recognized as true Christians, in modern times, we donât recognize militant Christians to truly be Christian.
Yes we historically recognize them as Christian because thatâs what they identified as, but religiously, they are not recognized as Christian. It is an undeniable truth that being in the military is not a possibility for Christians. The only exception would be Christianâs who were drafted into war and used faith to guide them out of it.
The bible absolutely does justify the crusades just as much as it justifies a million other things and bans a million more. Because itâs manmade and is interpreted in a billion different ways. Theyâre still christian just as much as you are, and youâre just as much not a christian as they are.
