Is there no other day you could do it? It’s family, sometimes plans change and you just have to roll with it. It doesn’t he’ll never play with u. I was long distance with my ex for 5 yrs, this is a small hurdle.

as someone in a LDR, i can see both viewpoints tbh. i sometimes cancel on my partner (calling or gaming) to spend time with my family or friends, its all about understanding and compromise. maybe ask if you can play another time that works for both of you?

yeah this has too little info, how often does he see his cousins? was it something he couldnt get out of? how often does you play games? theres a lot of factors, but off the information we have i’d be pretty upset, calling off a commitment sucks, but sometimes its forced upon or something of a lot higher priority comes up

He sees his cousins a lot especially since I moved to college. He could have gotten out of it for sure as he has in the past. We used to play games together almost everyday before I went to college.

he works and like I said i’m already at college for a summer session so it is hard. plus i have asked multiple time and he has failed to do so everytime

Yeah. I think why I was upset was because of how sure he was that he was only going to his cousins for a little bit. i was upset too since it came out of nowhere and he really didn’t seem to see how much i was looking forward to spending time with him since we haven’t got to much since I’ve been away

tell him the last part!! tell him you look forward to spending that time with him and that it’s disappointing to you when that time gets replaced with something else. if he can’t be understanding of that, then he’s the problem.

of course!! i get mad at my bf almost daily simply because i miss him and wanna spend time with him so i’ve been through this dozens of times lol, communication is the best problem solver
