NTA at all - thats fucking horrible, why would he ignore you telling him not to use the clippers. Haircut is something that really affects self image and confidence, you are fully right to be upset - and the comment he made after is insane esp considering you’re both transmasc, he should have known it would be dysphoria inducing (I am a trans man as well btw)

so I’ve just been shaving the sides and back and trimming the ‘hawk but I’ve finally had the will to let the sides grow for a while and am about to trim it back to the way I want, but I know he’s going to ask to help again and I just don’t want to let, even though I know that’s one of the ways he bonds and he’s going to pout and be upset.

Like, personally if someone did this to me I would stop talking to them, full stop (not tryna suggest you should do that, just emphasizing you’re fully justified in your response and being upset)

Don’t feel bad abt the multiple comments lol, I’m very guilty of rambling too, I love him but our other friends and partners all agree he can be pouty in a childish way when he thinks we’re upset with him and sometimes he thinks we’re upset with him just because he didn’t get his way. It’s something he’s working on but still, it’s frustrating

I was actively telling him not to use them when he cut with them, so an accident but one I couldn’t do anything about
