Bf says he wants to split on important days like anniversary and valentines (we dont do expensive things and barely go on dates anyways) and says paying something for me is for when we get married but having sex is not marital activities to him i guess??

When i was dating my now husband, he paid for everything. Occasionally i would/do and he is usually like thats so kind. Id say sex is a long term commitment and if he cant do basics as a man(if he didnt have a job or both struggling in school then yeah i see different rules), he shouldn’t get privileges like sex…

Having sex isnt a marital activity. He is your partner and equal and shouldnt be expected to treat you/pay for stuff. would you pay for dinner for him? or are you just expecting him to take care of you?
