If stuff has been in the dryer then yes take it out just don’t put it in the floor It’s different if it’s wet or out of the washer, never take damp clothes out or out of the washer unless it’s been hours and it’s unreasonable for them to have been left there.

Imo if you leave your clothes unattended in the washer/dryer at the laundromat for longer than 10 minutes, your clothes are getting taken out. Use a timer or something, keep track of your damn clothes bc other people need the machines

Right, if I were late then I’d understand, but my alarm had just went off (woke me up) I go down there five mins it took me, and then they damp in the hamper. I guess what I’ve come to is, don’t take it out unless you know they are dry at least.

I would say kinda. I would never take someone’s stuff out of the dryer. I know you need it but my mom always told me to be respectful. I’ve had people take my clothes out when I was an hour late, pissed me off.

No shit- I put timers on mine every time. I just won’t take someone’s stuff else’s clothes out. I don’t like it being done to me so I won’t do it to someone.

That’s fair but have you ever left yours unattended for a while while using timers? I wouldn’t like it being done to me, but it’s never happened to me because I keep track of my clothes and I’d like for other people to have the same respect for my time that I do theirs

I wish they would, but not everyone will. I had a timer, it was 1:00am I was tired ash, and I go to get my clothes cause I dosed off and forgot and my alarm went off, I go down and they are in the damn hamper. There were two other washers open. My clothes were still damp.

Depending on how much later you got back, the other two washers were likely running while the person who moved your clothes was there, leaving yours as the only one that they could use. You reap what you sow. If that’s not the case though and the other two were available at the time, that genuinely really fucking sucks, that person was a goddamn asshole

Well I mean technically you were late, but only by 5 minutes so still too early imo, ESPECIALLY if two washers were available

So you expect people to go down there before their alarm? Good idea

I expect people to set their timers/alarms so that they’ll be back in time
