Aita for saying I'm fine with her current male friends but I wouldn't want her to make new guy friends to hang out with one on one if they're single, because I feel very weird about that? I’m also fine with if it’s a friend group with guys and girls

YTA, why not? Do you not trust her to not cheat on you? Thats a really poor foundation for a relationship. The whole restricting who she can be friends with thing is very controlling and a well known red flag for abusive relationships.

It’s not that I don’t trust her, it’s the other guys I don’t trust. I feel it can give off the wrong impression, they can develop feelings and it rubs me the wrong way, but I understand where you’re coming from. Ultimately I’m not gonna be controlling or abusive, but it’s always not gonna sit right with me

You’re gonna have to trust your girlfriend to choose her friends well. She, hopefully, knows how to judge someone’s character on whether or not they’ll be a good friend or a creep. If there’s a specific guy she’s hanging out with who you’re getting bad vibes off of, let her know, but otherwise trust her judgement and be there for her if things go bad. Don’t second guess her judgement and don’t say I told you so if it does go bad, just trust her and be there for her.
