This is classic emotional manipulation, I’d consider breaking up. He’s essentially showing you how he will act if you end up in a marriage

Girl, he is a master manipulator. Not only should you kick him out, you need to kick him to the curb. This relationship will not end well. Better to end it now. I know it sucks, but he is going to drain all the life out of you.

Like obviously admitting to your faults can be hard, but if your first response is just to shut down and start victimizing yourself instead of trying to listen, that’s a major red flag

Yeah that makes a lot of sense :( I’ve never delt with this before in past relationships, but I knew that it wasn’t normal. I’m just not sure where to go from here

If you do decide to try kicking him out or breaking up with him, I’d keep someone you trust around just in case anything goes south, you never know. If I were in your situation I’d probably just tell him as soon as he starts doing that, that I wouldn’t be continuing the convo until he’s ready to actually talk. Been in a similar position so I get how frustrating it is
