nah, if she knew about the essay then it’s messed up that she’d still try and take your attention off it. your education is important and she should know and respect that.

Naw, she knew ahead of time you were working. You set that boundary and she still came over. Maybe talk about it, and express that you want to be able to give her your full attention whenever you AREN’T focusing on homework.
