yes. and he put our kitchen trash can right next to it so he didnt have to walk as far to throw out the outside of the onion. but it was also in the way of the walkway between the cutting board and our fridge like i couldnt move much. so i moved it to where we normall have it, and thats when he snapped.

i needed to make a sandwich and i wasnt going to stand next to a stinky ass trash can while i made it. plus, i didnt want to have to move around it every time i got stuff out of the fridge. i told him i would put it back when i was done, and i did.

you’re high key in the wrong here and sound very spoiled. there’s much worse things in the world than standing next to a “stinky ass trash can” while making a sandwich. make it somewhere else if it’s bothering you that bad. he was there first

I know what it’s like to get pissed off at a minor thing after a day’s worth of shit so I’m gonna extend some sympathy, but come on. He was using the kitchen for its intended purpose. Most people move the trash close while chopping or cracking eggs (my family certainly does). He wasn’t trying to be inconsiderate — you weren’t even eating the sandwich, just making it. My nose is sensitive so I get it but I would’ve just left and made it elsewhere. Soft yta

how can i make my sandwich elsewhere, when all the ingredients i need to make my sandwich are in the fridge/kitchen? also he could have been a bit nicer, rather than snapping at me like "hey! you shouldnt have moved that" and practically scolded me for it. like chill out, i moved it back when i was done. no need to have an anurism.

also, he wasnt even actively chopping the onions, he was sitting down in the living room, so i just needed space for a few minutes to make my sandwich and then i would go in a different room to eat it, yes.

our living room is connected to our kitchen. so he was sitting down watching tv and out kitchen overlooks the living room and he saw me move the trash can so i could make my lunch and then put it back before i left the room.
