Nope justified, you told her not to and she you even offered to do it after the wedding which coloring hair is a pain sometimes. Actions have consequences now she can be a guest, she’ll be alright.

Idk if I’m an asshole for that. I even said I’d dye it what ever she wanted after the wedding for her (I’m a hair dresser) or I would pay for her to get it done. Just at the wedding I didn’t want a super bright or neon. She was supposed to be a brides maid, not just a guest. I even told her that if she wanted we could make her hair a beautiful pink (her fav) so long as it wasn’t neon…

I understand both sides honestly this is a hard one. Coloring hair is self expression and important as an art that makes people feel good. But I also understand wanting that perfect wedding photo. I think both of you could have tried to see the other point of view of each other before coming to ultimatums.

See, my thing is, she didn’t even know at the time what color she wanted to dye her hair next, which is why I gave her the suggestions I did and asked her to just please not do super bright, and I would even redo it for her if she really wanted something wild. She kind of is known for being a bit dramatic and I’m kind of thinking she did it this way on purpose.

I totally get wanting to die whatever color you want because I used to do the same but for this wedding, I had allowed my hair to fade out the dye and get back a bit to its normal color. I don’t use bleach to die, so it’s rather easy for my hair to just kinda go back.
