had to pull a shard of glass from my dog’s paw pad because of something like this happening. i’ll never get her yelps out of my head i may not be an actual mother, but my fur babies are my babies. and the way i saw red after that… i was homicidal

Hi to make it even worse to people who should have a guilty conscious about doing this, it’s also really wheelchair users and nothing is worse for mobility than popping your wheelchair tire (it looks mostly in the grass but I see it on the sidewalk👀)

Omigosh that’s absolutely awful. The poor baby. At work - I’ve seen dogs be brought in wearing a special little shoes, particularly when it’s hot…maybe that could protect her in some way? 😢

The thing that really bugs me is that people don’t think that their glass bottle will break over time at places such as apartment complexes which is where I work. I spent the entire day picking up broken glass bottles because people don’t think their actions have consequences. If you don’t throw it away, someone else has to for you and it’ll likely be after an entire year of people and pets walking on the glass for the annual trash pickup before move in

obviously, but not everyone is capable of bending down, some people have health conditions that make even minor cuts higher risk, and things fall out of bags/vehicles without people realizing

weird. do you have recycling receptacles that are easily available to everyone and free?

Yes lol there’s several dumpsters all over the complex even with the recycling label plastered on them. There’s genuinely no excuse, especially with how many there are hiding in bushes and whatnot. It’s purposeful and not worth playing devils advocate for drunk college students
