A tangent that his professor went on in class. It's really light hearted with the occasional venting, but it's pretty much just a place to complain like if you get a flat tire or if you lost a really nice pen. Basically I invited a new friend and he's been in the complaining channel like every day and it borders on serious venting to serious shit. We're all concerned for him but it's also a lot seeing this light hearted place be filled with super depressing shit. I want to ask him to stop-

Venting. I've sent him sites to find therapists and let him know that I'm here, but I also asked him to cool it on the venting. He got upset when I asked that and said that I'm being inconsiderate. I get why he might be upset, but it just doesn't feel like the right place. He needs real help and instead he's venting in a server of 15 where he only knows like 2 of us personally..
