Eh misandry is one of those terms people made up to "counter" actual inequality and take away from the real issues. Even if men get discriminated against, it still ties back to the patriarchy. So this is not as deep as you think it is

Also misogynistic boys love their mother's because they see them as a tool or means to do stuff for them because to them their moms are mothers and nothing else, not independent people which is a reflection of the patriarchy. "Misandrists" hate their dad's because those men actively screw over their daughters and other women while (you guessed it) enforcing the patriarchy. No matter what words you use, it ties back to the patriarchy.
