AITA for telling a match that one of my expectations in a relationship is physical touch on the condition the partner is ok with it? I had matched with someone and they reacted to it accusing me of being rapey for expecting physical touch.

Ya you can’t being saying that… it’s understood that you’ll have physical touch if you are in a relationship. Setting it as an expectation comes across the wrong way

If physical touch is how you best feel loved, then there’s nothing wrong with communicating that. You’re not forcing anything on them, and you communicating what you want from your relationship is entirely reasonable.

I’ll add some more context. I explained not sex, not interested in sex until things are really serious. Also tried exposing to them I am physical with my friends, so obviously nothing sexual. If I explicitly stated non sexual. Can I not say that?

You can, but if you’re saying it right away just being honest it comes off weird and would make me uncomfortable. It puts unnecessary pressure on someone to do something they would likely do naturally on their own if they like you.

I think it’s okay to say to someone if you’ve been with them for a little bit but I would absolutely rephrase the way you’re saying it. Ex: I really like (literally) sleeping with people and might say something like “I really like when we are able to sleep together, it makes me feel close with you” rather than “if we are in a relationship, it’s an expectation I have that my partner will sleep with me if they are comfortable with it”.
