AITA for being upset that my best friend forgot my birthday. I thought maybe she was busy but she was texting me yesterday to talk shit about people.

yes and no maybe she doesn't see you as her best friend. or is forgetful, an honest mistake. but its ok to be upset

Not totally the asshole but also it’s pretty common for people to not remember birthdays. Unless I see it come up on SC or someone else says it I don’t remember a lot of my friends’ birthdays, even my best friend of 16 years.
