I am feeling like this isn’t gonna change your opinion, however she doesn’t use it and was asking for me to leave it in my room in case it gets damaged or lost… I would happily replace it if I damaged it which I’ve told her is how I roll when she’s borrowed my things or I’ve borrowed hers. I ended up leaving f it there anyways because she asked me to but I just thought it was stupid because she doesn’t use it and I don’t mistreat her items that I borrow so was planning to return it

Also if her boundary is me asking to continue borrowing something she doesn’t use and offered to me then she needs to rework her boundaries. If it were something more serious like me going into her room and taking it without asking, I would understand, but she gave it to me. Sharing doesn’t usually bother a regular person who grew up sharing things. I don’t know I just think it’s stupid and a lot of other shit has happened that has been really frustrating

I didnt take it, she gave it to me . She didn’t ask for it back. She asked that I leave it at home LIKE I MENTIONED. I asked if I could bring it, she said yes but made me feel like an actual piece of shit to even ask to continue borrowing the TWENTY DOLLAR VALUE item that SHE OFFERED to me. She has borrowed far higher value items from me and has never even offered the courtesy of asking to take these things places, but I’ve always been chill because WHO CARES.
