I think stuff like this is so funny cause the same people caught up on this want Charlie Kirk to be treated like a peace activist or are pissed that their favorite comedian got cancelled. Do we want people to be able to move past old mistakes or not?

I’m saying modern conservatives love to whitewash radicals like Kirk or Fuentes and talk about how nobody should be cancelled for their speech. But they also love to take shots at people that the left idolizes, like Taylor swift. So which one is it? Should people be able to apologize for mistakes like taking this photo or should these types of things always lead to someone being cancelled?

i see what you're getting at with the hypocrisy. swift is just a poor example. she isn't idolized by the left. leftists and even libs dunk on her all the time

that is correct conservatives suck BUT i really think there’s an even mix of people hating on her rn. if anything it feels this album is catering to her conservative audience

Fair, I suppose I more meant to say the center/democrats idolize her

the “left” doesn’t idolize Taylor Swift. She’s a billionaire materialist.

That’s why I just made the clarification that I meant to say center/democrats

I don’t think i agree with that either. I think only Taylor Swift fans idolize her. Outside of that, she’s not well liked.

Yeah and fans of hers that I meet are almost always centrist democrats. They’re about the empowering women themes and listened to her growing up. Conservatives don’t really like her as much and neither do further left folks

That’s interesting about her album catering to a conservative audience. How so? I’ve heard someone else say that, but II haven’t listened closely enough to the album to pick anything out

It does have Sabrina carpenter on it so that could be part of it. Think she’s the only feature too
